Duffy Theatre 2015

What a funny show we had on Monday!!!

The year 1-8 went to see a Duffy theatre in the hall. when we arrived we sat down in our home class’s it was so hot in the hall.When the show started they introduced what there are going to act there was Duffy,sienna and a lady that acted all kind of different characters..

The funniest part of the show was when the garden lady was singing the tink song. I thought that was the funniest Duffy show I had ever been to. The garden lady was in Sienna’s imagination and Duffy thought that she was silly talking to her self. Duffy couldn't see her because the garden lady was in Sienna’s head.

My favorite part was when duffy helped Sienna read her favorite book .She helped Maui catch the sun so they could have more time to fish.My favoite book that sienna read was the dinosaur.   

Have you ever been to a duffy show before if you have then how many have you been to?The Duffy show was wonderful my favorite character was the garden lady.  

I think that the show was a 8/10.It encouraged me to read hard books. Do you like reading books?

Have you been to mission bay? During the school holiday the church and my family went to mission bay to celebrate A.J’s last day.He was leaving for Three years just for a rugby tournament at Australia.

When we arrived our church were playing volley on the grass A.J was having heaps of excitement and joy.I love playing with my friend Anna and Tina in the water fountain during the day.It was a fun night at mission bay.

What was your favourite part?My favourite part was playing with my two best friend’s Tina and Anna.I love to hear about your wonderful holiday highlight.

Jesus is Born

Jesus is Born

Introduction

One early bright sunny morning along time ago there lived a woman named Mary.  She lived in a city by the name of Nazareth. Mary was married to a man named Joseph, he was a carpenter.

Suddenly  an angel appeared in front of Mary with a message from God saying that she was going to have a baby named Jesus. She was surprised and ran to tell Joseph the news. He was surprised to hear the news and in his dream an angel appeared and said to look after mary as she was going to have God’s child. So Joseph did as he was told.

Traveling

Mary and Joseph went  to a city called Bethlehem, they saw it was too full. So mary and Joseph asked a man if there was a place to stay for the night. Joseph then brought up that mary was going to have a baby.  So the man offered a place in the stable. They were so glad they got to stay there because there was no other place for them to stay. Even though they were in a stable with animals and it smelt as smelly as a socks, they were still glad.

The Birth

Jesus was born and he looked as sweet as honey. There were three wise men that knew Jesus was born. So on that night a bright star appeared and the three wise men followed it and it led them to baby Jesus. The three men gave him gold, frankincense (perfume) and myrrh. Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus lived happily ever after.

Introduction

Can you name five rules when visiting an art gallery?When we get in the art gallery we were so excited to see art that we  were learning about.We learn about store,painting,exploring,playing lago and the learning center.

Last friday we were getting ready to go in the bus to go to a trip to the art gallery.Some of the year 5 and 4 went to see different type of art.Linda show us around then we start looking at art that tell us store we have to find out who get trick

For example: We went to see  sculptures,we even saw drip painting and art that we haven't even seen before.When we get in the art gallery we have to keep quiet,one meter away from the painting,not allow to run inside and if we want to go to the bathroom then we have to ask a parent helper.

When Miss ouano said that we can go explore the art gallery we told talita dad if we can go to the light show so he said yes when we get in we couldn't see anything explat the screen I was walking to the screen when I bump into a chair I don’t know there was a chair. My favorite part was going to the stodio

Writing- How to be a successful Point England Student

Do you know how to be a successful Point England student will I do!! If you don’t know then I will tell you all about it.you have to always be a successful student to teacher and other classmate.For explan when your friend is talking to you then you have to listen to what they are saying and then it will be  your turn to talk.Read more than you would find out.    

Being a successful student

Just incase you don’t know how to be a successful student you have to aim your gold for you reading writing and your math.For explain If you are on 7.5 for your reading then you have to never gave up and keep on reading over and over again so you can get better at your reading.when you never soon a answer like 1.6 + 2.8 that mean you are learning new thing.
