Basketball skills

Walt: Write simple and complex sentences

For the past few weeks we have been learning skills about basketball.Every Thursday room seven maths class and 6 walks over to the hall for their basketball lesson. We have different time and days to go to basketball.

Our two instructors are coach Malik and coach Yaran. One of the three skills that we practice in basketball are Jump stop, chest pass and the golden child.

What I like playing was the golden child, there are two teams. One team is the shooter and the other team is the runner. The runner team have to run around the hall and get to the end of the wall while the shooter is trying to shoot the ball in the hoop. Once they get the ball into the hoop they yell “STOP”. You can only move when the golden child has ran past you.I was exhausted while I was running to the end of the wall.Sweat was trickling down my back.

What is your favourite skills? I really enjoyed basketball and getting to meet coach Malik and coach Yaran. They have taught us a lot of lesson this team.Basketball is the most sweetest and funniest  game I ever played. Next year I am looking forward to learn about more fun game like basketball. I love basketball

Math teacher lesson

We use mixed number and improper.Mr Somerville give us a mixed number
first.A mixed number has a hole and a denominator and a numerator.The
denominator and the numerator are the left over.A improper fraction is a fraction
that the numerator is greater or equal to the denominator. For example 5/9 or
7/5 is a improper fraction and a mixed number is numbered like this 4 8/6
or 7 6/5

Math Problem solving

WALT: solve problems with fraction
On team two on week 9 we have been learning about lots of fraction. What is the
greatest fraction 1/4 or 3/8? The greatest fraction is the smallest fraction. The answer
is 1/4. What I learnt from this is the smallest fraction is away bigger than the bigger

Me and Rosalina have been solving out fraction witch is the biggest and witch is
the smallest.By looking at the number you see 1/2 and 3/4.If you see that 1/2
is a smaller number than that the biggest. What I learnt from this strategy is that
the smaller the fraction is the bigger it is.Check out what me and rosalina had learnt.

The Blindfold Games

O.M.G guess what class 8 literacy had play this morning? We sat in a big circle and places six bowls and six blind fold on the floor. In each bowl there are 20 pins that you have to find in a minute. There are only 6 player who are playing.

I was thinking about where the pins will be by the time it was my turn.Watching the other classmate finding there pins look hard.We hide the pins under the rice so it will be difficult to find.It was hard for them to find the pins with the blindfold on there face.It was frustrating for us when we had a blindfold on our face while we were finding the pins in the bowls full of rice.

When the timer had finished we count up our pins that we had found.Once it was my turn I put on my blindfold and waited for the timer to start. My friends where testing me if I knew the number that she was showing me with her hands, some I gust wrong and just one right It was funny for some of us because we were just digging up rice.I giggle as I find nothing still.

The blindfold game was funny, hard and even fun to play. Have you ever played a blindfold game before. I thought that I did bad finding the safety pins.I hope that I will do better in the next game that we play.Thank for visiting my blog
Theatre Masks, Blindfold,

maths teacher lesson

My group Protractor are learning about the numerator and the denominator.
The top number is the numerator and the bottom number is the denominator.
We write our answer and then show Mr Somerville our question.

Rosalina,Revival and Presayus Problem Solving

WALT: solve problems with multiple steps
What we learnt was fraction. The bigger the fraction is the smaller thing you get.
For example there is a cake that I  bake. If you want a bigger piece then witch
fraction is it .5/6 or 8/10 the answer will be 5/6 because it is the smallest number.
